Statutory requirements by NESA and Departments of Education that affect the provision of professional development and the delivery of schools-based programs EduTech Australia Pty Ltd ensure meeting all governments standards and requirement. This including but not limited to Workplace Health & Safety, insurances, The Privacy Act Anti-discrimination.

All employees, managements, shareholders, contractors, subcontractors, wholesalers, resellers and distributors must adhere to our values and code of conduct and understand:

  • Our Human Resource practices reflect all Equal Employment Opportunity principles
  • All EduTech Australia’s personnel accept full responsibility for our decisions and actions, with colleagues, clients, stakeholders and the general public
  • All EduTech Australia’s confidentiality regarding all information obtained in the developing of new initiatives or new apps in the course of employment or engagements as a contractor or subcontractor
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors are NOT to give or disclose, directly or indirectly, any information about the EduTech’s business, unless required during the course of your duty or unless expressly authorised to do so
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors are NOT to provide false or misleading information to others in the course of duties at EduTech Australia Pty Ltd.
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors are NOT to make improper use of insider information, status, power or authority,
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors must ensure information and documentation provided or generate in the course of duties, is confidential and at all times remain the property of the EduTech Australia Pty Ltd,
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors must disclose any conflict of interest during their engagement with EduTech Australia and take appropriate steps to avoid any conflict of interest,
  • All employees, contractors and subcontractors must adhere to EduTech Australia’s policies and procedures and comply with any lawful and reasonable directions given by anyone in EduTech Australia who has the authority to give the direction.

In addition to the EduTech Australia’s Code of Conduct any employee, contractor, subcontractor should be aware of their obligations under other acts, regulations and determinations relevant to their employment. These include, but are not limited to, the:

o And Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999.

As our work involves dealing with schools; for those people, whose responsibilities include activities with children and young people, they should be aware of their obligations under other acts, regulations and determinations relevant to their employment.

These include, but are not limited to, the:

  • Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act (NSW)
  • Children and Young People Act 1999 (ACT)
  • Children and Young People Act 1998 (NSW)
  • Children and Young People Act 2000 (QLD), and
  • Any other Acts developed in relation to Child Protection.
  • Any other child protection and young people Act developed by any other Australian States or any states we are working in and / or in any of our international regions.

A particular obligation, forming part of the EduTech Australia’s general standards, is the obligation on all employees, shareholders, contractors and subcontractors to “adhere to all other applicable Trap Ed’s policies and procedures”. This includes, but is not limited to, policies dealing with matters such as:

  • Child Protection
  • Sexual harassment
  • Fraud and Fraud Prevention
  • Information Management
  • Security

EduTech Australia is International organisation therefore our code of conduct is enforced anywhere in or out of Australia.

All members, contractors, sub-contractors, resellers, wholesalers, distributors, presenters and employees of EduTech Australia Pty Ltd must hold a current WWCC. 

Workplace Health & Safety

Workplace Health & Safety includes bullying, nutrition, incident reporting, and protecting and supporting children and young people.

Under the WHS laws, EduTech Australia Pty Ltd takes new actions to comply with the WHS Act and their state and territory WHS Codes of Conduct and Regulations.

Under WHS laws, EduTech Australia Pty Ltd is committed to eliminating health and safety risks so far as is reasonably practicable. We believe that by enforcing effective restricted policies and clear goals for our employee is the best prevention and great risk elimination. We developed effective policies in order to help us reduce with possible of eliminating risks:

 EduTech Australia ensure all our employee are trained in cultural awareness programs to provide a harmony at workplace and promote understanding cultural differences via our professional learning in the work, health & safety programs. Additionally, all our staff are trained first aid and must hold national working with children and criminal check.

EduTech Australia has developed younger generation mentoring & Internship programs for schools and universities students, where they learn to build up their skills and leadership learning from seniors’ officers. Our staff get engaged in fortnightly mentoring sessions with our senior officers.

New work health and safety (WHS) laws may mean the responsibilities and duties of your sporting club have changed.

Since the Commonwealth's Work Health and Safety ACT 2012 came into effect on 1 January 2012, states and territories have harmonised their WHS laws with the Act. This means that people conducting a business or undertaking (organisations and clubs) and workers (including volunteers) are protected by the same WHS laws across Australia. It provides greater consistency, certainty and clarity about WHS laws, making it easier to understand your WHS duties.

Under the WHS laws, EduTech Australia Pty Ltd takes new actions to comply with the WHS Act and their state and territory WHS Codes of Conduct and Regulations.

Under WHS laws, Dutch Australia Pty Ltd must eliminate health and safety risks so far as is reasonably practicable. If eliminating risks is not possible, then risks must be minimised so far as is reasonably practicable.

EduTech Australia’s risk management approach to address WHS issues such as:

  • Hazard identification Identifying all the things which may cause harm. This can involve the use of machinery and the physical demands of the task and aspects of the work environment such as noise or air quality.
  • Risk assessment — Determining how likely and how serious the effects will be on people in the workplace being exposed to the hazard.
  • Risk Control — Deciding and implementing what needs to be done to eliminate or control the risks to health and safety, by applying the hierarchy of risk control.

  • information, training and supervision to all workers, including volunteers
  • and process for consulting with workers and keeping them informed
  • and involved in decisions that may affect their health and safety.
  • Review control measures to ensure they are working as planned

Workplace Bullying:

Workplace bullying is repeated, and unreasonable behaviour directed towards a worker r a group of workers that creates a risk to health and safety.

All employees and stakeholders should be valued for the diversity they bring to EduTech Australia Pty Ltd.
Everyone at work can help ensure that bullying does not occur. It is important to respond quickly because the longer bullying continues, the more difficult it is to address and the harder it becomes to repair working relationships.

EduTech Australia Pty Ltd treats any misconduct seriously; when it comes to enforce our code of conduct and values it’s our highest priority as we lead by example, any employee that commit any of the following behaviour will be a subject of termination and employment improvement program:

  • Offensive language or comments - criticism
  • discrimination based on gender, religion, background,
  • sex discrimination and racial hatred
  • deliberately excluding someone from workplace activities - withholding information that is needed for work.

It is illegal to harass and or discriminate against any EduTech Australia’s employee, contractors, subcontractors, co-workers, clients or stakeholder and/ or the public on the following grounds:

o Religion; age; gender; race;
o Political or industrial affiliation;
o Sexual preference;
o Pregnancy; medical condition, physical, mental and intellectual ability;
o Family responsibilities; social origin; And Criminal record.
